Licence Verification
We only feature betting operators that hold a valid Australian licence.
All operators featured on TopAusBet must hold a valid licence issued by an Australian state or territory racing or gambling authority. Online betting in Australia is regulated under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
How licensing works in Australia
Australia does not have a single national gambling regulator. Operators are licensed by state and territory authorities, most commonly:
- The Northern Territory Racing & Wagering Commission โ licenses the majority of Australia's online bookmakers;
- NSW Liquor & Gaming;
- The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).
You can check whether a gambling operator is legal in Australia using the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA): Check if a gambling operator is legal (ACMA).
